Interview Summary

Junie Roberts grew up on Winganeek Farm in Lexington, Kentucky where his father, Arthur Roberts, a well-known trainer and judge of American Saddlebreds, was farm manager. Roberts describes his childhood on the farm and tells stories about Miss Clara S. Peck, the owner of Winganeek. He discusses his father's career and his job on the farm, assisting his father with training and breeding horses. The sale of Winganeek in 1959 and some of the farm's stallions, including King's Sport, are also discussed.
