Interview Summary

This is an interview with Collette Kennedy, a resident of Keyport, New Jersey. Kennedy discusses her unique position, becoming a new resident only a few days prior to Hurricane Sandy. The damage to her home was minimal and she used her time after the storm helping others in her community. Her voluntary involvement with her town led her to be elected to the Keyport Environmental Commission. She also shares her opinions on the media and political coverage of her town after the storm.
