Interview Summary

This interview with retired Pakistani general Wajahat Hussain begins with a discussion of the small-scale conflict between India and Pakistan in 1955. It then moves on to talk about his experiences as a colonel during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965, which resulted over territorial disputes in the region of Kashmir (India). Hussain then moves on to talk about the continuing conflict between India and Pakistan that has extended to the present day. He talks about aspects of proposed Kashmiri independence, as well as issues regarding the involvement of other countries such as China and Russia. He also talks about martial law in Pakistan, before finishing the interviewing by discussing the current primary concerns of the Pakistani Armed Forces.
