Interview Summary

The presiding minister at Main Street Baptist Church, Baker came to Lexington from Louisville in 1976 where he attended the University of Louisville. He details the activities developed at Main Street Baptist Church, his relationships between various ministers in the community and the role of the African American churches in Lexington. Baker is concerned about the housing difficulties faced by Lexington's African American community.
