Interview Summary
This interview with historian Peter Hammar starts with a discussion of Schmidt Horning's project. It then moves on to a discussion regarding the debate over the development of selective synchronization (sel-sync). The pair discuss oral history, and engineer Jack Mullin. They also talk about data recorders and Ampex Electric Corporation founder Alexander Poniatoff. They then talk about the special product division of the company.
