Interview Summary
Andrew Sussman served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Afghanistan as a teacher from 1971 to 1973. He is from New Jersey and attended college at the University of Virginia prior to his service. He taught secondary school in Jalalabad, Afghanistan and then taught English to female nursing students, which was very unusual in Afghanistan.Interview Accession
