Interview Summary
Drew Mayville is the master blender for Sazerac. In this interview, he discusses his education and career history prior to working for Sazerac. He talks about his mentor Art Dawe, the effects of the sale of Seagram's, and his involvement in Old Montreal Distillery. Mayville talks about the art of blending Canadian whisky, the difference between whisky and bourbon, and how his blending was inspired by bourbon despite their differences.
