Interview Summary

Elwood McConathy describes his family and genealogy in Fayette County, Kentucky. He gives a brief overview of his education, experiences in World War II, and post-war career. McConathy talks about the rural landscape of Fayette County, Kentucky and his father's farm during the 1920s. He describes the woodlands, hunting with his father, and other interesting sights in the forest. McConathy describes the landscape of Tates Creek Road, Lexington, Kentucky in the 1920s and how the landscape of Lexington, Kentucky has changed during his lifetime.
