Interview Summary
Viqar Zuberi, a former professor, begins the interview by detailing his early life and education in India. Then, the participation of Zuberi's father in the All-India Muslim League is examined. Additionally, a history of Pakistan in the broader context of its precursor, India is provided. Next, the partitions of Pakistan and India respectively are explored. Factors that caused these political events are also mentioned. The interviewee then evaluates his relationships with Indian Hindus, religion in his childhood, and the life of his father. Following this, the immigration of the interviewee's parents to Pakistan decades after the partition is highlighted.Interview Accession
