Interview Summary
Les Paul describes how he first got into recording by building his own record lathe and getting his mother to record him when he played on the local radio station.He then goes on to discuss his early career in the Chicago radio scene; such as the stations he worked with, who he was able to work with, and what shows he recorded with his partner, Joe Wolverton.
After, he talks about the benefits of using a Live End-Dead End studio (or LEDE Studio), as well as how this was achieved, and exactly how he would use it when recording.
