Interview Summary

Lisa House was born in Corbin and grew up in London, Kentucky. In this interview she talks about her childhood, playing sports, and imitating her brothers. She talks about feeling like she and her girlfriend were the only gay people in high school and about meeting others like them. She talks about her jobs, living in various places in Kentucky, and attending college at Eastern Kentucky University. House discusses the differences between London and Lexington, Kentucky. She tells the story about coming out to her family and their reactions. She talks about closeted members of the gay community.
