Interview Summary

Ray Christie is a living history interpreter and full-time employee of the Coastal Heritage Society of Savannah, Georgia. He portrays a variety of living history personas for educational purposes at living history museums managed by Coastal Heritage Society, mainly at Old Fort Jackson in Savannah. For this interview recorded at Fort Pulaski on the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service 25 August 2016, Christie was portraying a sergeant of the 55th Massachusetts Infantry.
