Interview Summary

Isler (House 1956-1986, 60th district, 65th district; Democrat) recounts his twenty six years in the legislature. Interview begins with Isler's early years in Kenton County (Ky.) and his work with the local Democratic Club. Isler discusses the sponsorship of several bills including media censorship, teacher retirement pensions and minimum wage increases. He also recounts working with Governors Chandler and Combs.
