Interview Summary

Kendrick explores the relationship between creativity and a land-based life, particularly among Kentucky writers. She goes into more detail about Wendell Berry's influence on her, and on Kentucky's literary community. She reads a poem from her most recent book, "Almanac of the Invisible," and discusses some photographs of her East Point, Kentucky farmstead, as well as of her farming forebears.
