Interview Summary

Jack Wright begins the interview by describing his family and his childhood in southwestern Virginia and Alabama. He describes his interest in music and rock 'n roll during his high school years in Virginia. Wright discusses his experiences in college, his increasing political awareness, and his experiences in the U.S. Army and the Vietnam War.
