Interview Summary
Brothers Sol, Sigmund, and Max Jucker of the Three Brothers Bakery in Houston, Texas, after discussing their bakery, recount their wartime experiences. After their hometown of Chrzanow, Poland was invaded by the Germans, they explain, and after Max spent some time in Russia and returned home, they were deported to labor camps, eventually being united in the same camp. They describe the aftermath of the war in Poland, as well as their new lives in the United States.Interview Accession
