Interview Summary

Eugene B. Steffen from LaGrange, KY served in the Army in the 753rd tank battalion during the WWII. Steffen was drafted into the Army on December 2, 1941 and was discharged February 9, 1946. While in the Army Steffen spent time in Italy, France, and North Africa. Steffen was awarded the bronze star medal and a purple heart with OLC.
