Interview Summary

Tim Hicks discusses his personal history leading up to his time as Judge Executive of Cumberland County, as well as his experience during his tenure as Judge Executive. Hicks describes the work that the county and Personal Responsibility in a Desirable Environment (PRIDE) have done in regard to cleaning up litter and illegal dumps in the county. Hicks discusses the impact that PRIDE has had on the community, as well as how the county is combating the issue of pollution. He describes how tourism impacts the economy of Cumberland County, as well as how development in the area is leading to possible issues regarding pollution.
