Project Summary

Duncan Tavern was built in 1788 by Major Joseph Duncan. Located in Paris, Kentucky, the tavern was restored and opened to the public in 2003. This project focuses on the process of renovating the tavern. Interviewee Zoney Soard, who was very involved in this process, discusses the condition of the tavern before it was restored, keeping the authenticity of the building while still using modern materials, and others involved in the restoration.
