Interview Summary

Mr. Owens came to Lexington in 1938. He discusses his work experiences and education. The Supervisor of Documentation and Supply at the Lexington Army Depot, Mr. Owens also details the racial situation at the Army Depot during the 1940s and 1950s and during the civil rights movement.
