Interview Summary

Charles Shouse, a farmer living on Cane Creek, begins the interview by discussing a family reunion he attended recently, as well as the former owners of his grandfather's home. Next, an overview of the farm Shouse's grandfather previously lived on is given. Past sorghum mills around Cane Creek are also mentioned. Shouse then elaborates upon his grandfather's home, emphasizing the outbuildings that were on the farm. Additionally, Shouse talks of his own farm and the difficulties of residing there. Lastly, Shouse considers cast iron cowbells and figurines he owns, along with the planned archaeological dig of the Shouse farm.
