Interview Summary

William K. Herdt Jr., born in Peewee Valley, KY, joined the Army Air Corp in January of 1942. Herdt was a technical sergeant at a camp in Northway, Alaska, repairing airplanes. Herdt was awarded a good conduct medal and was discharged November 1945.
