The Transformation of Georgetown College Oral History Project

Project Summary

This collection discusses the growth and changes that Georgetown College has undergone. Georgetown College was founded in 1839 as a Baptist school of higher education. In 2005, the school changed their relationship to the Kentucky Baptist Convention. Interviews include the current president of the University, Board of Trustees members, former legal counsel for the college and others. These interviews reflect the atmosphere in the university during these changes.
