Interview Summary

In this second interview, Chandler, the owner of Mill Ridge Farm in Lexington, continues to share stories of her father Hal Price Headley and of establishing Mill Ridge Farm in the early 1960s. A hands-on horsewoman, she describes the hard work and challenges she faced in those early years. Chandler also shares her concerns and experiences with land development, equine drug issues, and other challenges of working in the Thoroughbred business. She reflects on her experiences as a leader within the industry, including serving as president of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association.
