Interview Summary
Unique Young is a highly involved junior at the University of Kentucky. She attended Central High School in Louisville, Kentucky before applying to UK. In this interview, she describes the college experience of a minority, first-generation college student. Young is the president of the Black Student Union (BSU) along with other leadership roles on campus. She also talks about being a citizen of UK and what that encompasses. She gives advice to college students on how to feel as if you are a campus citizen and how to utilize resources in the UK community.Interview Accession
