Interview Summary

Susan Andreatta is an applied anthropologist interested in agriculture and community outreach. Andreatta is a past president of the Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) and her goals as president were to increase dialogue between SfAA, its event locations, and the communities involved in them as well as providing networking opportunities for students at SfAA. In the interview, Andreatta discusses her interdisciplinary anthropological education, work and goals in SfAA, community outreach, her own research and work in applied studies, and her advice for promoting a sustainable future.
