Interview Summary

This interview covers the childhood, college life, and stand-up career of Ariel Elias. Her childhood was spent in Lexington, Kentucky, where she played saxophone in high school and she attended Jewish conventions. Elias then attended Tulane University and studied abroad in Cuba. She worked in a health clinic, started doing stand-up comedy, and then moved to New York City.
