Interview Summary
Sarah Lee Snepp, a childhood friend of Chandler's, begins the interview by discussing what Chandler was like as a child. Chandler's parents, and the difficulties that his family faced are detailed. Snepp then discusses Chandler's habits in high school. Chandler's background is speculated to have influenced his optimistic personality. The interviewee then chronicles her friendship with Chandler after high school. Chandler's interests in school are then examined. The influences of Chandler's father and community in Corydon upon Chandler are articulated. Snepp concludes the interview with a reflection upon Chandler's legacy in Corydon and in Henderson County.
