Interview Summary

In this first interview, Gurney Norman talks for nearly three hours with fellow Appalachian and paratrooper Shorty Terry. The two discuss growing up in coal camps, joining the Army, and begin to delve into Spec. 5 Terry's extensive U. S. Army Special Forces experiences in Lebanon and Laos.
