Interview Summary

In this interview, Virginia Dare Alexander describes her family background, education, and career preparation for Trigg County Circuit Court and County Clerk in the 1950-1970 period. She describes Smith Boradbent II influence and political style that contributed to his local and state political influence. Alexander credits Broadbent with leadership in obtaining Barkley State Park and Lodge and Land Between the Lakes.
