Interview Summary
Hensley begins the interview by talking about her work on the Lexington Urban County Council. Subsequently, Hensley reflects upon her involvement with a proposal from University of Kentucky students to the city council to appropriate funds towards the creation of a student-run alternative radio station (which would be within the control of the University of Kentucky). Next, the interviewee discusses the people involved in the creation of WRFL. The actual budget proposal of the students is also mentioned. WRFL as a radio station (in comparison to other radio stations in Lexington) is also characterized by Hensley.
