This interview with Frank Coyle focuses primarily on his time in the 157th Infantry Batallion from March 1965 to February 1971. His Batallion was never activated, so the majority of the interview discusses his time in training. We start with his early years, then transition into his time spent with the Army Reserves. He outlines what basic training looked like, his daily routine, and the lack of privacy in the barracks. During training, Frank broke his leg; so he shares his time in Fort Knox Army Hospital.
