Interview Summary

Mark Bronner discusses in detail his family genealogy, from his ancestors in Russia who immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Louisville, to later members of his family who held prominent positions in Louisville. He talks about his own childhood in Louisville and how it affected his Jewish identity. He talks about his education, his participation in Jewish clubs and social activities, and how the community has changed since his childhood. He discusses his college experience, medical school, his work as a gastroenterologist, and Louisville Jewish Hospital.
