Interview Summary

Brad Spear is a living history interpreter portraying a first person persona of an 18th century British surgeon named Dr. Hawkins who lived at Fort Frederica on Saint Simon's Island, Georgia. The interview was recorded at Fort Frederica National Monument at the site of the foundation of Dr. Hawkins' house.
