Project: Peace Corps: The Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Oral History Project

Interview Summary

Craig Adams, along with his wife, Lucy Altemus, served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in San Bernardo, Ecuador in the Sustainable Agriculture program from 2008-2010. The richness of Craig's service came from the relationships he formed with his community and counterparts and sustained beyond his service. Craig and Lucy returned to Ecuador after service to live in Cuenca and ran a cafe called the WindHorse Cafe until they returned to the US just before the pandemic.
