Interview Summary
Robert Gallagher was born in West Chester in 1946, where he was raised. In November 1965, he enlisted in the air force as an Airman First Class. His career in the air force would last for four years. From 1968 to 1969, he served in Vietnam as a part of the 377th Security Police Squadron and was stationed at the Tan Son Nhut Air Base, which was located on the edges of Saigon in Southern Vietnam. He served until leaving Vietnam in August of 1969. After the war, he pursued a career in the manufacturing industry. He is now retired and lives in the West Chester area.Interview Accession
