Interview Summary
In this interview Kazi Javed discusses his upbringing in Dhaka, Bangladesh and secondary education in the United States, where he studied physics and chemistry. Javed goes on to discuss his eventual move to Hazard, Kentucky, and how he's found community in Kentucky. Special attention to his participation in the Kentucky Conservation Committee, living through the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, and discussing the COVID-19 pandemic.Interview Accession
