Interview Summary
LaTarche "Tarche" Collins served in the Peace Corps three times after 10 years of work experience in the music industry. She served in Honduras, 2007-2009, as a Small Business Development Specialist; in the Philippines, 2016-2018, as an Ecotourism Development Planning Specialist; and in Peru, 2018-2020, as a Business Development Planning Specialist in Microfinance. In all three services she was able to build the capacity of women in marketing and financial skills to grow their small businesses. As a person of color, she also offers insights on how Peace Corps can improve the experience of diverse volunteers by how it conducts its recruitment of volunteers and manages volunteer support during in-country service.Interview Accession
