Interview Summary

Jeff and Robert Caldwell III, sons of Robert Caldwell Jr., recall memories of their father’s life as a groom of American Saddlebred and American Standardbred horses. They relate their personal experiences about working with horses from an early age and traveling to shows, as well as stories and tricks of the trade. They also share how the values they learned, such as discipline and respect, are still with them today.
