Interview Summary

Elisha Creech was born at Dryhill in 1900. He shares memories of his town in the early 1900s and the ways of living during that time. Creech talks about different instances of violence within the county and his family. He also discusses how he made money through the selling of ginseng and timber, and E.L. talks about the store that he owned. He recalls his experiences in the mines, and the flu epidemic of 1918 which brought the arrival of the FNS.
