Interview Summary
In this interview Frederick Booker Noe II discusses the bourbon industry and the history of Jim Beam. Noe talks about the evolution of distilling techniques, early marketing of Jim Beam bourbon, the use of tax seals on bottles and the role of slave labor early in Jim Beams operations. The interviews in this collection were conducted by middle school students as part of an educational media project under the direction of Henderson County North Middle School teacher Roy Pullam.Interview Accession
