Project: Student Projects: West Chester University Student Peer to Peer Oral History Project
Interview Summary
On February 24th, 2022 I, Mya Humphries interviewed Chelsey Moore a West Chester University student who is double majoring in anthropology and history with a minor in museum studies. I started off the interview by asking Chesley about her hometown and her upbringing. We touched on subjects such as what her high school was like, some of her hobbies, and future plans. We then touched on her life going to West Chester University and why she chose this school and what she likes the most about it. We started to talk about her relationship to people in the military. This led us into COVID-19 related questions and how she managed going to school during a global pandemic and her thoughts on the politics aspect of COVID-19. After, we talked about the George Floyd murder, the Black Lives Matter Movement as well as poling in America. This made a segway into more about politics and the insurrection of the capitol building on January 6th, 2021. The interview ended with some of Chelsey’s other passions and where she sees herself in the future.Interview Accession
