Interview Summary

Dr. Thomas Tucker describes the path which brought him to his current positions at the University of Kentucky. He explains his childhood in Kansas and his young adult life. He describes the goals of the Kentucky Cancer Registry and how he helped found the registry. He describes the disproportionate rates of cancer in Kentucky and explains reasons why he believes the rates are much higher in Kentucky. He explains the barriers to healthcare in Kentucky. He describes his experience with his mother's cancer.
