Interview Summary
Performer Jamie Buxton describes her life before COVID-19. A native of Edmond, Oklahoma, she talks about her trajectory through the arts, moving to New York City, becoming a member of the Gilbert and Sullivan Players, teaching voice and piano, and finishing her master's degree in music theater writing at New York University just as the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the nation.
