Interview Summary
Susan Perkins Weston discusses her work on school reform in Kentucky and her long association with the Prichard Committee. She was the first executive director of the Kentucky Association for School Councils (KASC); she discusses the potential and shortcomings of school-based councils in Kentucky. She also discusses her work as an education "data sleuth" and her approach to data analysis. She talks about contemporary issues in education, such as charter schools and the common core state standards. She talks about the acclaimed education blog she writes for the Prichard Committee.
